Steve Garry is a Texas born singer/songwriter with roots in Texas and Americana music. Growing up in the fertile music scene of Lubbock, Steve began playing music at an early age and has continued to hone his skills as a singer/songwriter and guitarist. After spending over twenty years travelling with a few bands in New Mexico, and a short stint in Nashville, Steve returned home to Lubbock and took a well-needed rest from the road. He continued to write and play private gatherings and house concerts. In August of 2019 Steve was asked to participate in the first “Buddy Holly Songwriters Symposium”. Now, in the Texas Hill Country, he enjoys playing to wine tasters who can raise a glass to good music and good wines.
