Josh Murley was born in Kerrville, Texas and starting playing guitar when he was 16. Music has always been a part of Josh’s life; he grew up singing in a choir in high school and then became a full-time musician. As a vocalist and guitarist, Josh temed up with drummer Patrick McCorkindale in 2004 and formed Someone Like You in 2004. The band won 2004's “Best New Band” when Josh was also awarded “Best Male Vocalist.” In 2007, Someone Like You wone “Best Alternative Band,” alongside band member Keith Foreman winning “Best Bass Player.” 

Josh competed on Season 6 of The Voice in 2014. With musical styles ranging from progressive/alternative rock to folk, Josh offers memorable originals and an ever-growing repertoire of crowd-pleasing covers. Enjoy a Saturday afternoon with a glass of Covington wine while Josh provides vocals.
