This Two and a half  hour event is held Thursdays from 7:00-9:30pm throughout the year

Here at Covington Cellars we are passionate about exceptional wine and food.    This sensory exploration feast will teach you the basics of successful wine and food pairing.    Our chef will enlighten you with five cooking demonstrations filled with interesting tips and techniques that will heighten your experience of cooking at home, and pairing wine and food.   Taught at a beautifully set table, this is what we call “a class with class”.

Join our Winemaker on a tour of the winery as you learn how we turn grapes into that desirable glass of wine. Try a sample straight from the barrel, and take a seat in the candlelit barrel room to enjoy a flight of wines and food pairings from our kitchen.  Finish the event with a full glass pour of your favorite wine!

You’ll begin this unique experience with a wine blending workshop led by the winemakers themselves.  Sample three different red wine varietals and learn what differentiates them from one another.  You’ll want to take careful notes because the next two hours you’ll spend blending and tasting as you craft your very own wine!    Once you’ve mastered the art, it’s time to bottle & cork!  We all know that pretty matters, so finish your workshop waxing the top and creating your own custom label (crayons provided). 

Now that you’ve worked up an appetite, unwind with your classmates over a four-course, wine paired, family-style dinner that features seasonal, house-made dishes.   Now that’s what we call fun!
